The Home Maintenance Services and Protection for Damages by Pet are two optional rider offer different scopes of protection.

The Home Maintenance Services cover original manufacturer repair costs for appliance failures caused by mechanical or electrical breakdown, and do not cover damage directly caused by your pet.

The Protection for Damages by Pet specifically protects against direct pet damage to 10 designated items, including:

Shoes

Water pipes

Refrigerator

Washing machine

Dryer

Washer dryer combo

Dehumidifier

Air purifier

Vacuum cleaner

Water filtration system

If your belongings are damaged by a pet, the loss must be claimed under the Protection for Damages by Pet. These two optional rider each other with non-overlapping coverage, and customers are welcome to enroll in both at the same time.
