Can I cancel my policy if my pet passed away during the insurance period?

If your pet passed away and there is any successful claim record during the insurance period, please send the death proof of your pet (such as receipt of cremation service or palliative care, etc.) and include the policy number through email to care@onedegree.hk. Once we receive your email, we can proceed to terminate your policy. No premium refund will be made in such circumstances.

If there is no successful claim record, you may log in to the member portal and cancel the policy by yourself. The premium refund amount will be calculated automatically according to the payment cycle of your policy. You may refer to P.39 of the sample policy of Pawfect Care for details.

Please be noticed that cancellation or termination of a policy is being confirmed, it cannot be reinstated.
