Terms and Conditions for OneDegree Home Insurance Renewal Discount with Electricity Consumption Reduction
1. This promotion (“Promotion”) offered by OneDegree Hong Kong Limited (“OneDegree”) is valid from 2nd June 2025 until further notice (“Promotion Period”). By participating in this Promotion, policyholders agree to comply with the following terms.
2. During the Promotion Period, only policyholders who meet the following conditions shall qualify for an additional 5% renewal premium discount on OneDegree’s Home Insurance Policy (“Promotional Offer”):
(i) Upload an electricity bill issued by CLP Hong Kong Limited or HK Electric through the designated online portal specified by OneDegree in the email.
(ii) The uploaded electricity bill must match the insured address of the policyholder and be dated within 3 months from the upload date. The electricity bill must be uploaded no later than seven(7) calendar days before the end of the current Period of Insurance specified in the relevant Policy Schedule.
(iii) Meet one of the following electricity consumption criteria:
(a) Achieve a reduction of at least 10% in daily average electricity consumption (rounded to the nearest whole number) in the most recent 12 months, compared to the preceding 12 months; or
(b) Maintain an average electricity consumption of 8 kWh or below in the most recent 12 months as shown on the uploaded electricity bill.
Following OneDegree’s assessment, a notification email will be sent confirming policyholder’s eligibility. To accept the Promotional Offer, the policyholder must click the provided link in the notification email before the end of current Period of Insurance specified in the relevant Policy Schedule. Any payment made beyond the end of current Period of Insurance will not be taken into account.
3. Any failure in fulfilling any criteria and/or requirements mentioned in this Terms and Conditions will result in loss of the Promotional Offer, and no refunds shall be arranged afterwards.
4. If the policyholder cancels the relevant OneDegree’s Home Insurance Policy during the policy term, OneDegree reserves the right to deduct the Promotional Offer from any premium refund.
5. This Promotional Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers.

7. OneDegree may amend and/ or terminate this Promotion without notice. All matters or disputes in relation to the Promotion and the interpretation of Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the decision of OneDegree, which shall be final and binding.
8. In case of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
9. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (“HKSAR”); and subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of HKSAR.
