Terms and Conditions for OneDegree 2026 Calendar Grand Production
This Campaign (“Campaign”) upholding by OneDegree Hong Kong Limited (“OneDegree”) is valid from now until 30 October 2025 (“Campaign Period”). Participants selected based on the program’s eligibility criteria will be notified via email on or before 31 December 2025.
- Submission Eligibility
Participants must complete the following requirements during the Campaign Period:
- Follow OneDegree’s official Facebook page;
- Follow OneDegree’s official Instagram account;
- Subscribe to OneDegree’s official YouTube channel;
- Register as a OneDegree member
- If the participant uses an iOS device: download the PawBook App and register as a member
- If the participant only uses an Android device: register via https://www.onedegree.hk/zh-hk/dashboard
(v) Fill in the designated form on OneDegree’s blog (“the Form”) and upload screencaps as proof of completing steps (i) to (iv).
3. Photo Upload Requirements
Photo must comply with the specified submission guidelines, including content, size, and format, to qualify for the Campaign:
(i) Content: Photo content must be related to pets, with no restrictions on pet type. Content must not include any illegal, offensive, obscene, violent, discriminatory, or harmful elements, including those detrimental to animal welfare. OneDegree reserves the right to reject any photo that does not meet legal standards.
(ii) File Size: The maximum file size is 10 MB. Photos exceeding this limit will not be accepted.
(iv) File Format: Photos must be submitted in jpg, jpeg, jpe, png, and tiff. Other formats will not be accepted.
(v) Upload Responsibility: Participants are responsible for ensuring photos are correctly uploaded to the designated platform. OneDegree will not bear any responsibility for file corruption, incomplete uploads, or failure to submit photos due to issues on third-party platforms.
4. Ownership and Usage of Submitted Photos
(i) Licence Granted: By submitting their photos, participants irrevocably grant OneDegree a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, exclusive license to use, reproduce, distribute, edit, display, and otherwise exploit the photos for promotional, marketing, and other purposes. This includes, but is not limited to: a. Publishing the photos on OneDegree’s social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and other official channels. b. Displaying the photos at OneDegree’s physical events, with no limitation on the number of events or duration of usage.
(ii) Ownership of Edited Materials: Any edited, modified, or adapted versions of the submitted photos created by OneDegree shall remain the exclusive property of OneDegree. Participants waive any claims to ownership, royalties, or compensation arising from the edited versions.
(iii) Commercial and Non-Commercial Usage: OneDegree reserves the right to use the submitted photos for both commercial and non-commercial purposes, including advertisements, presentations, and promotional materials, without providing prior notice or compensation to participants.
(iv) Retention Period: Submitted photos may be retained and used by OneDegree indefinitely unless otherwise specified by applicable laws or regulations.
(v) Legal Compliance: Participants warrant that the submitted photos do not infringe any copyright, intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other third-party rights. They also warrant that they have obtained all necessary permissions, including consent from any individuals or entities featured in the photos, before submission. Any violation will result in disqualification, and in such case the Participant shall indemnify OneDegree for any third party claim against OneDegree caused by the violation.
(vi) Indemnification: Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless OneDegree against any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from the submission, usage, or publication of the photos.
5. Personal Information
(i) Collection of Personal Information: By participating in this Campaign, participants consent to the collection of personal information, including but not limited to their name, contact number, email address, and any other information provided through the Form.
(ii) Purpose of Collection: Personal information collected will be used solely for purposes related to this Campaign, such as participant identification, communication, prize delivery (if applicable), and other administrative tasks. OneDegree may also use anonymized data for analysis and reporting purposes.
(iii) Third-Party Sharing: Personal information may be shared with authorized third parties, such as collaborators and service providers, for the purposes related to this Campaign. OneDegree will ensure that any third-party recipients adhere to strict confidentiality and data protection standards.
(iv) Storage and Retention: Personal information will be securely stored and retained only for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes of this Campaign or as required by applicable laws and regulations. Once the data is no longer required, it will be securely deleted or anonymized.
(v) Participant Responsibilities: Participants are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the personal information they provide. Inaccurate or incomplete information may result in disqualification or failure to receive communications or prizes.
(vi) Participant Rights: Participants have the right to: a. Access their personal information held by OneDegree. b. Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information. c. Withdraw consent for the use of their personal information. You may do so by sending an email to our Data Protection Liaison Officer: dpo@onedegree.hk With purposes or questions clearly stated in the message, the Data Protection Liaison Officer will reply you as soon as practicable. Participants should note that withdrawing consent may result in disqualification from the Campaign.
(vii) Amendments: OneDegree reserves the right to change or update the relevant terms and conditions of Personal Information at any time without prior notice. The changes or updates will be notified to participants on OneDegree’s website or in writing (which may include electronic format) and any such change or update will be effective immediately upon posting.
- OneDegree may amend and/ or terminate this Campaign without notice. All matters or disputes in relation to the Campaign and the interpretation of Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the decision of OneDegree, which shall be final and binding.
- In case of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (“HKSAR”); and subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of HKSAR.
