There is a waiting period of 90 days from the policy start date for accidents, injuries and illness before coverage takes effect.
What’s not covered?
We would love to keep all our feathered and scaly friends healthy, but unfortunately none of the pet insurance companies can cover treatments of pre-existing conditions for which a pet has developed symptoms or received a diagnosis, medication, advice, or treatment before the waiting period ends. Our plans also don’t cover spaying/neutering costs and alternative treatments. Please see the complete list of exclusions here

Which vets in Hong Kong are covered under the Turtle, Tortoise & Bird Insurance?
Unlike Pawfect Care, we don’t have a designated vet network under the Turtle, Tortoise & Bird Insurance. This means you can benefit from your coverage at any licensed vet clinics or animal hospitals in Hong Kong that provide services for turtles and birds.
Can I purchase a policy if I am not sure the age or breed of my turtle/bird?
Do I need to prepare and submit any documents for pet insurance claim filing?
What type of birds and turtles/tortoises are covered by the Turtle, Tortoise & Bird Insurance?

3. The discounted premium will be rounded to the nearest whole number during quotation for display purposes. The actual premium payable will be shown at checkout and shall be the final amount.
4. The Offer is only applicable to premiums for the first year of a policy.
