As of January 2022, we have searched for pet-friendly places in Hong Kong for all dog lovers, including the latest pet parks, pet-friendly parks, and popular pet-friendly places, so that owners in various districts have more choices when taking their furbabies out!
Inclusive Parks for Pets
In 2019, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department launched a pilot scheme of “Inclusive Parks for Pets”, allowing 6 parks under its management to be used pets. Starting from February 6, 2021, more “Inclusive Parks for Pets” will beopen24 hours a day in various districts (except for the Chui Yu Road Rest Garden and the Rest Area at Waterloo Road/Ferry Street). Up till now, there are 41 parks, save the pictures now!

Pet Parks / Dog Parks
Unlike inclusive parks for pets, pet parks are specially designed for pets and are usually fenced and double-gated to prevent pets from wandering off. Facilities generally include dog waste collection bins/toilets, hand washing facilities, and in some cases, play facilities and water dispensers for pets, as well as lawns. Most of the dog parks (except for individual venues, which are listed in the opening hours below) are open 24 hours a day.
