OneDegree encourages pet owners to spread the love with more than HK$7,000 in referral rewards, including a rejuvenating staycation

OneDegree Hong Kong Limited (“OneDegree Hong Kong”) is rolling out a new referral program for its Pawfect Care pet insurance, giving policyholders the chance to earn more than HK$7,000 in rewards, including cash rebates, bonus coverage, and staycation packages at the pet-friendly Hyatt Centric Victoria Harbour Hotel.  

Under the new program, which runs from today until 8 October 2020, existing customers can earn HK$1,000 of bonus coverage (up to an additional HK$5,000 annual coverage for their pets) as well as a HK$200 cash rebate for every successful referral. Policyholders who refer at least 3 friends during the promotion period will be treated to one night’s stay at the Hyatt Centric Victoria Harbour Hotel in North Point (valued at up to HK$1,099). Guests can also choose taking their beloved dogs to enjoy a staycation together.  The modern Hyatt Centric Hotel not only boasts sweeping views of the iconic harbour, it is also pet friendly and conveniently located just a few minutes’ walk from the popular North Point Promenade Dog Park. 

In a recent email survey, 100% of replies from existing customers indicated they are satisfied with their Pawfect Care experience. Awareness of pet insurance is still relatively low in Hong Kong, compared with other markets in Europe and the United States. Through exciting referral incentives, OneDegree Hong Kong hopes to encourage policyholders to share the benefits of pet insurance with their fellow pet parents.

OneDegree Hong Kong has made several significant enhancements to Pawfect Care in less than 5 months since launch, demonstrating the insurer’s commitment to provide coverage that is truly helpful for pets and their owners. It became the first insurer in Hong Kong to relax the microchip enrollment requirement for cats, giving cat owners more flexibility and options. The market has responded enthusiastically to the recent enhancements, with the number of policy purchases in August exceeds that of April to July.
