Claims Handler

We are currently looking for a claims handler for the assessment and settlement of our affiliated insurance products in a timely and compliant manner.

The role:
- Delivery of excellent standards of customer service through high quality and efficient handling of claims
- Making prompt and timely decisions on policy cover and claim reimbursement
- Handle customer queries in a professional and efficient manner
- Establish and maintain a positive and professional relationship with external medical professionals
- Handle customer complaints in line with internal complaints procedure
- Liaising with others to obtain and deliver information that is crucial to service and control of claims costs
- Ensuring compliance with key legislative and regulatory requirements in the handling of claims

Key attributes:
- at least two years of experience with claims processing and management at an insurance company
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels with internal and external customers
- Ability to organise, plan, prioritise and schedule work to ensure personal and team efficiency
- Willingness to work towards professional insurance qualification
- A readiness to make decisions and problem solve
- Identify opportunities for improvements in processes for the overall benefit of the customer or team
- Strong written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin) language skills
